About Beat Dance Company Bournemouth

About Us

BEAT started in September 2004, the first street dance crew to open in Bournemouth.

They made their West End debut in 2007 & have since competed in the British street dance championships, Southern street dance championships, hip hop championships, performed in Disneyland Paris, danced at the Royal Albert Hall & for ITV's Story of Street Dance.

In 2009, Laura was appointed the organiser of the southern regional hip hop championships by hip hop international.

As well as annual shows in local theatres, BEAT hold an annual awards night so that the students get recognition for their hard work being awarded certificates, medals & trophies. Now years later & having built a good reputation in the area, we are always being booked to give workshops in schools, perform at events & provide children's parties!
