Laura Cuschieri - Director & teacher
Laura trained as a professional dancer then went on to dance in musicals, commercials and films. She then discovered Street dance and ditched her ballet shoes and tights for a pair of trackies and trainers! Laura loved the music and freedom of stlye so therefore decided to learn more from Sisco Gomez (BBC's 'So You Think You Can dance' judge) and danced in many urban music events.
Whilst working as a dancer, she taught and choreographed for theatre schools and shows in London, Southampton and Bournemouth. Laura is the only accreditted street dance teacher in Dorset and Hampshire! She continues to learn from world class hip hop dancers and wants to pass on her knowledge and passion to all the BEAT students.
Laura also trained as a drama teacher for the Helen O Grady drama academy and taught for many years, she believes that her teaching skills from both diciplines are the secret recipe to BEAT!
