Juan Pablo Sikota - Bboy teacher & assistant
Emerson Bispo and Pablo Sikota are BEATS Bboying teachers and assistants. Two very talented dancers who are the 'real street dancer' as that's where they started to learn and begin their journey of dance. Emerson on the streets of Brazil and Pablo in Equatorial Guinea. They have raw talent and are extremely passionate and bring their unique flava of styles.
Kloe Dean - Guest teacher
Kloe specialises in hip hop, she is a lead dancer with Boyblue entertainment and is director of Myself Dance Company. Teaches at Studio 68 London and judges competitions.
SuperMalcom - Guest teach
Born in the Congo, raised in France and now based in London, SUPERMALCOM is a versatile dancer specialising in the styles of hip-hop and house. He is able to connect with and represent the music he dances to with natural finesse. Supermalcom's presence is powerful and his flow is unique.
Breakz Samuel’s - Guest teacher
Breakz is a strong, talented hip hop and funkstyle dancer who specializes in popping. He is adept in multiple genres of dance and this versatility gives him a truly unique freestyle flavour. His tall stature coupled with his amazing skills make his performances vibrant and captivating. Breakz also knows how to wow audiences with his acrobatic ability.
Breakz is a key member of Pro-Motion & Monsterz (a UK popping collective) and a former member of the renowned Flawless dance crew who took the country by storm in ITV1's Britain's Got Talent back in 2009. Breakz's performance career has gone from strength to strength over the years and his highlights include national tours, television appearances and live stage showcases. Breakz has performed with top music artists including Kylie Minogue and Chipmunk and starred in Streetdance the movie.
Breakz is also dominant on the competitive circuit and has represented the UK both at home and abroad at top popping competitions including Eurobattle, Juste Debout UK and the UK B-Boy Championships.
Nicholas Marvel - Guest teacher
Marvel is a popping specialist and performs incredible solo shows using a clever mix of dance, mime, robotics, animation, illusion, character & comedy. He is also a key member of Pro-Motion and the Funkstylerz freestyle collective.
A world class performer who never fails to captivate an audience and leave them in awe of the illusions he creates, Marvel still continues to push himself to achieve new skills and reach higher levels both competitively and artistically.
Marvel has represented the UK in the Solo Popping competition at the "UK B-boy Championships World Finals" in both 2011 and 2012 after successfully qualifying at the National Championships.
Kieran Warner - Guest teacher
A UK artist, co-founder of The Jam Movement and Simple Cypher, producer and dancer specialising in Cyr Wheel, Hip Hop and Litefeet. A teacher , judge and battler all over the world.
Issac Baptiste aka Turbo
Is a street dancer, musician and entertainer from the UK. He is best known for his appearance as a finalist on Sky TV’s GOT TO DANCE. He has danced in music videos for Madonna, Jamelia, Will Smith, Miss-Teeq, Shaznay Lewis and Whitney Houston. He also presents his own show called ‘Turbo Boost’ on CBBC. He had the lead role of the Mad Hatter in Zoonations Madhatters Tea Party.
Michael (Bagsy) Oladele
Bagsy is a House dancer, Locker and Waacker by trade studied and trained in LA, New York and Japan with some of the most prolific dancers of our time. Pioneers including Archie Burnett, Ana Lollipop Sanchez, Brian Green, The Go Go Brothers, Hurricane, Cebo, Caleaf, Tony McGregor and Sekou have all helped him become the elite performer he is today.
Bagsy has with worked JONZI D in creating a piece for Scotland's Breaking Convention and with Company Fierce from Manchester choreographing and performring for the street dance show 'Gulliver's Boom Box' which toured around the UK performing many shows and workshops at various arts festivals.
Bagsy teaches around the world and regularly at the prestigious Danceworks studios in London and here at BEAT.
He travels overseas to take part in high profile dance competitions and battles such as Juste Debout and Street Star and has become very well respected in the street dance community. Bagsy's experience, knowledge, charisma, love of dance and music makes him an inspirational teacher.
Alex ‘Mechanikool’ Peters
Specialising in Popping and Animation, Mechanikool was a semi finalist in this SKY 1’s Got To Dance, making a big impact on the TV and introducing the style of Animation in its very tradition form.He was UK Popping Champion twice in 2006 & 2011 and a finalist in 2007. He represented the UK in the world finals. Mechanikool now travels all over the UK and Europe passing on his knowledge and philosophy on dance.
